Foliage earrings

New exploration: integrating a fillet into my miniature multi-material marquetry.
What material should you choose to achieve this effect, with a maximum thickness of 0.2 to 0.3 mm?
For this project, I designed a foliage pattern that I applied to two different surfaces: a wallet and earrings.
• On the wallet, I incorporated Miyuki thread (a very fine Japanese thread) and horsehair.
• On the earrings, I inlaid a mixture of straw “thread” (which I prepared) and Miyuki thread.
I’m also continuing to learn the transparency technique, already explored with the Milky Way earrings.

Dimensions :

34 x 34 mm

Materials used for the marquetry :

Sycamore, tulipwood, straw, beetle elytra, lambskin
