Handbag
The project: To create a multi-material marquetry decoration on a new medium, the handbag.
To bring this project to fruition, I took a leatherworking course.
I had a lot of fun learning new techniques to make this handbag.
Dimensions :
24 X 17,5 X 9,5 cm (excluding handle)
Materials :
Handbag : alligator
Marquetry : pearwood, burr walnut, Tahiti mother-of-pearl ,diamond powder, pigeon feather, straw, parchment, leathers (salmon, lamb), slate, Calais lace.
